A Forest Lake woman has been honored for her life-saving efforts in Scandia last April. Ann Nicklason, 47, was honored at the Washington County Law Enforcement Center last week with the citizen Life Saving Award. In April, Nicklason performed CPR on her boss after he collapsed from a heart attack at Crabtree’s Country Store. The business owner, 59, recovered. Nicklason performed CPR with help of a dispatcher until Washington County Deputy Sheriff Chris Majeski arrived. Majeski was also honored by the county for his efforts in helping save the man’s life.
